It is the responsibility of the owners/occupiers to prevent their vegetation from interfering with the use of footpaths and highways.

Overhanging vegetation can cause a problem for pedestrians and users of the footpaths and highways.    It is apparent that many residents hedges and borders need more than a light trim to remove vegetation which has encroached onto footpaths and highways. 

Hedges should only be cut outside of bird-nesting months.  Nesting months are typically between March and August every year.
