4 August 2026
Ashridge will be holding their annual staff appreciation event at Ashridge on Tuesday 4th August, 2pm – 6pm. This is an event they used to hold in the evening, but as they had received noise complaints in the past, they have moved the event timings to be a daytime event. They won’t be having a DJ but will have some amplified background music. The event is outdoors.
They don’t anticipate impacting Little Gaddesden residents negatively but did want to give the village notice.
Fireworks
Please note: Ashridge state that displays now use “silent” fireworks.

Local Fireworks:
Many residents complain about the impact that local firework displays (including those displays held by other residents) have on animals and the distress that fireworks cause. Some animal owners struggle to keep them safe and calm during firework displays.
Please consider the impact that fireworks can have on wildlife, livestock and pets and do all you can to avoid this.
