There are seven seats on the Council. The Parish Councillors play a necessary, non-political, role in managing village affairs within their statutory remit. Despite regular advertising the Council has not had a full compliment of Councillors at any point this term.
5 seats were filled during the May Elections.
1 seat was co-opted in October 23
1 seat remained unfilled in November 23:
1 seat became vacant in August 2024 as result of a Cllr relocating and resigning.
1 vacancy/ seat filled by Co-option at the December 2024 leaving one unfilled vacancy.
1 seat became vacant in December 2024 as a result of a Cllr retiring/resigning leaving two unfilled vacancies. These were readvertised.
1 seat was co-opted in June 2025
1 seat was co-opted in October 2025
1 seat became vacant in June 2025 following the sad passing of Councillor Francois Gall. This is now being advertised.
