The National Trust have put up Red warning signs :
“High Fire Risk – No Fires or Barbecues”
The Parish Council urges residents of Little Gaddesden, and any contractors/gardeners working in the area, to follow the National Trust guidance until further notice on all private and public land in Little Gaddesden.
As well as warning against open fires and BBQs, Berkhamsted Golf Club are warning people not to smoke on their land.
Collectively we, and our gardeners/contractors if we have them, must all do what we can to reduce and remove risk.
Please avoid doing or discarding anything that might cause a fire in the area and please pick up broken glass or other rubbish which you see which might cause a fire.
